Former assistant LMPD chief says detective who fatally shot Breonna Taylor shouldn't have been fired
“He fired after an officer had been shot in defense,” former Col. LaVita Chavous told the Louisville Police Merit Board. “I had no issues with Myles Cosgrove’s actions nor did I think he should have been fired.”
Myles Cosgrove's attorneys accuses the LMPD Merit Board of being "arbitrary" and violating his due process rights when it voted to uphold his firing.
