LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) — A Seymour, Indiana, man was killed and three others were injured in a near head-on crash Thursday in Bartholomew County.

Indiana State Police said officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to State Road 11 near County Road 800 South after reports of a two-vehicle crash.

According to a preliminary investigation, a car being driven by a 17-year-old girl was headed northbound on State Road 11 when it crossed into the centerline into the path of another car going southbound.

Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, 42, of Seymour was riding in the front seat of the southbound car. Police said he died at the scene.

The 18-year-old driver of the southbound car was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital. A 15-year-old passenger was taken to an Indianapolis hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

The 17-year-old driver of the other car was also taken to an Indianapolis hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation. Toxicology results are pending.
