Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of North 24th Street around 8:45 p.m. after getting a call from someone inside that a family member was pointing a gun at others in the home, including a child.
LMPD confirmed two First Division officers, Shaine Edmondson and Jeffrey Goldman, fired their weapons. Neither officer has any commendations or disciplinary history, according to LMPD.
The shooting stemmed from a domestic violence call on Thursday, Dec. 14 at a home in the 400 block of North 24th Street around 8:45 p.m.
