LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was killed and two others injured when a home exploded in McDaniels, Kentucky, Saturday morning.

Breckinridge County Sheriff Todd Pate told WDRB it happened around 10:15 a.m. central time, 11:15 a.m. eastern (Louisville) time, in the 700 block of Camp Green Shores Lane, which is right by Rough River Lake.

Investigators believe the explosion was a result of a gas leak in the home, Pate said. They do not believe the explosion was the result of any foul play.

One person in the home was killed. They were identified Sunday as 62-year-old Loretta Harris. Two other people inside the home were taken to University Hospital in Louisville with life threatening injuries, according to Kentucky State Police. Their current conditions remain unknown at this time.

No other information was immediately available, and Kentucky State Police will continue investigating.
