LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after his motorcycle collided with another car on the Clark Memorial Bridge Friday evening.

Louisville Metro Police responded to a reported vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on the Clark Memorial Bridge around 7:06 p.m., LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a statement.

Police found the motorcyclist, an adult man, who was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. The passenger of the car was taken to Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, Mitchell said.

Jefferson County Coroner's office identified the motorcyclist as 38-year-old Braden Patrick Cundiff. 

The bridge was closed for several hours, but reopened just after 11 p.m.
