LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- On Saturday, the Portland Museum was showcasing not only its new exhibit and neighborhood but also some art for you to take home.
More than 30 vendors were set up to celebrate the Portland Art and Heritage Fair's 10 year anniversary.
The new exhibit is called "Made in Portland" which features artists who call Portland home.
There were live performances by the Louisville Leopard Percussionists and art workshops.
Organizers said it is a way to thank the community for their support.
"Portland for many years has been underserved at best and sort of ignored at worst so us being here we see it as our main goal to affirm the value of the neighborhood," William Smith, Portland Museum administrative coordinator, said.
Some of the funds will go toward building a children's museum also in the Portland neighborhood.
