LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 17-year-old girl was killed in a head-on crash Friday morning in Columbia, Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police said the teen was driving west just before 10:30 a.m. CDT on KY 206 when she crossed the centerline and entered the eastbound lane, then collided head-on with a truck.
Police said the 17-year-old was taken to a hospital, where she later died. The identity of the victim hasn't been released.
The driver of the truck was not injured, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
