LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A project meant to improve safety and mobility along Chenoweth Lane in Louisville starts next week.
The $5.6 million Kentucky Transportation Cabinet project will also address drainage issues.
The corridor between Shelbyville and Brownsboro roads is scheduled to begin "on or after" Tuesday, Jan. 20, KYTC said in a news release Thursday.
To boost safety and mobility for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists, KYTC said the work includes: roadway modifications, sidewalk and pedestrian crossing improvements, and drainage enhancements "designed to reduce flooding and improve overall travel conditions."
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead as there will be some traffic impacts during the work.
The project is expected to be finished this fall. To learn more or sign up for updates on the project, click here.
