LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An early morning fire damaged an apartment building on Northwestern Parkway on Friday.
It started around 2:30 a.m.
Louisville Fire had to call in additional trucks because of the size of the fire and the building.
It took 35 firefighters more than 30 minutes to get the flames under control.
One person was able to escape before fighters arrived.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is not known.
