FANCY FARM, Ky. (WDRB) -- Current Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer announced he will join the race for Governor in 2015 at Saturday's Fancy Farm Picnic events. 

Comer will have a kick-off event for his campaign in September when he will announce a running mate. Comer joins republican candidates Hal Heiner and Robert Lee Rosier who have already declared for the race. 

Comer will square-off against Rosier and Heiner in the republican primary, while Jack Conway is currently the only declared candidate on the democratic side.
