LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Drivers on Interstate 64 East in Shelby County should expect delays after a semi truck ran off the roadway and ended up partially submerged in water.
The crash happened near the 33 mile marker. Officials said the driver was able to get out of the cab and was not injured.
I-64 East is expected to be shut down in the area for the next several hours while crews respond and work to clear the scene.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
