LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Business keeps booming at the industrial park in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Tenneco, an auto parts supplier, is bringing a new factory to River Ridge, with a few hundred jobs.
Work is now underway to renovate an existing building for the factory.
Workers there will build catalytic converters and emission-control products for companies like Ford and General Motors, and the developer says the workers will be highly skilled.
"I can't give you the exact numbers that they're going to get paid, but it's going to be very attractive from a tax situation for the county, and it's going to attract more people like that," said Jim Karp, CEO for America Place.
Production is expected to begin in January.
The company says it hopes to have about 250 workers by 2017.
