LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A B-25 bomber flight honoring World War II veterans this weekend has been postponed due to weather.Â
Honor Flight Bluegrass was scheduled to fly World War II veterans for free to mark the 80th anniversary of World War II. The B-25 bomber "Miss Mitchell" was scheduled for flights in Louisville and Russellville Saturday.
Eight veterans signed up, ranging in age from 97 to 103 years old. There was still room left for two more World War II veterans, as of Tuesday afternoon.
The Louisville flight was scheduled for 10 a.m. and noon.

The Kentucky Veterans Program Trust Fund is sponsoring the flights.Â
The B-25 bomber served in the 310th Bomb Group, 57th Bomb Wing of the 12th Air Force in North Africa and Italy. The plane completed over 130 missions.Â
