LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two days of Louder Than Life have already clogged up traffic all across Louisville.

Parking at the Kentucky Exposition Center has quickly filled up quickly both days, a situation that's only thought to get worse on the weekend. On Thursday, all three gates were closed before 5 p.m., and the parking lots filled up before 3 p.m. Friday.

Interstate 65 south near the University Boulevard exit to Eastern Parkway was stop-and-go traffic or standstill most of the day Friday. To avoid driving in the traffic and figuring out parking at the venue, several Louder Than Life fans decided to take the shuttle options to the festival grounds.

"I like to take my car everywhere, but, last night at Louder Than Life, there were people that were stuck until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning, from what I saw on social media, because they parked their car out there and they just got stuck out there," said Raymond Evans, who uses the shuttle option.

Here are some of the shuttle options:

Parking can come at a premium and sell out quickly, so the event added even more ways to get here, according Chamie McCurry, the general manager of Danny Wimmer presents. The parking is good at the Riverfront Garage under the Belvedere and Galt House West Tower. Parkers should enter from 4th Street next to the tower.

"It is new this year," McCurry said. ".... It's going to take you right to our main festival entrance and then it's going to take you back at the end of the night."

When it comes to tickets, four-day passes for Louder Than Life are sold out. Friday is sold out for single-day tickets, but there are a few remaining for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. To check for ticket availability, click here.
