LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A boat on the Ohio River went up in flames Saturday.

It happened just before 2 p.m. in Prospect off Victory Lane near the Drift Bar. Several fire departments were called to pull the people out of the water.

Kevin McGrath witnessed what happened.

"It looked like the engine backfired, actually," he said. "The back seat flew off the boat, and you could see a small flame out of the engine."

There's no official word on the cause, but no one was injured.
