LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 24-year-old woman was found dead laying in the roadway of Interstate 64 Friday evening.

The Shelby County Coroner's Office said dispatch received calls about a body in the roadway at the 26.4 mile marker in the eastbound lanes.

The victim was identified as 24-year-old Brianna Perry of Lexington. The cause of death is under investigation.
