LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Annual popcorn sales for the Boy Scouts of America are officially underway.

Sarah Flowers, the council popcorn lead for the America Lincoln Heritage Council in the Louisville area, said Thursday on WDRB Mornings that the popcorn sales help support camping trips, supplies, merit badges and any other adventures.

Timothy Fredrico, the area's top salesman with more than $10,000 in sales, said the organization's white cheddar and smore's flavors are their best sellers.

Boy Scouts of America also sell chocolate, microwave popcorn, and roasted peanuts. You can find a full list of available items on their website here.

Seventy-percent of proceeds go back to local scouting programs.

Sales end in mid-October. Orders will be delivered during the first week of November.
