LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Brent Burke's young son and stepson have testified against him in a military court.
The Fort Campbell soldier is charged with murdering his estranged wife Tracy Burke and her former mother-in-law Karen Comer at Comer's Rineyville home in 2007.
Burke's son, who was four years old at the time, testified Saturday that he saw his father in the home with a gun. The older boy, who was nine years old, said he didn't see the shooter's face, but recognized his stepfather's voice.
Burke's defense was expected to present its case Monday. The Army charged Burke in the case after four mistrials in civilian court.
