LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Ford Motor Co. announced plans to build the all-new 2025 Ford Expedition at its Kentucky Truck Plant as the company celebrates 75 years of producing vehicles designed to support first responders. 

According to a news release from company representatives Tuesday, the 2025 Expedition will join a "broad lineup of pursuit rated and special service vehicles stretching all the way back to 1950," according to the release from Ford on Tuesday. 

Another police vehicle, the new 2025 Ford Police Interceptor Utility, recently went on sale, Ford said. 

"We are committed to designing products that are durable, safe, purpose-built for law enforcement, upfit friendly, and deliver the performance our customers expect from Built Ford Tough vehicles, that’s what we call our police brand DNA," said Lindsey Bertino, police brand marketing manager for Ford.

Every Ford police vehicle available in America is assembled in the United States.
