LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three Louisville-area restaurants have been named 2026 James Beard Award semifinalists.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, Noam Bilitzer, the chef-owner of MeeshMeesh Mediterranean in NuLu was named a semifinalist in the Best Chef: Southeast category.

Watch Hill Proper in Norton Commons was named a semifinalist in the Outstanding Bar category.

Michael Bowe of Red Yeti in Jeffersonville, Indiana, was named a semifinalist in the Best Chef: Great Lakes category.

Elsewhere in Kentucky, David Willocks of The Baker’s Table in Newport was named a semifinalist in the Best Chef: Southeast category.

The finalists will be announced on March 31 and winners will be revealed on June 15 at a ceremony in Chicago.
