Australian restaurant closing on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Australian cheese shop and café on Frankfort Avenue closing its doors.

Harvey's made the announcement on Monday. A closing date hasn't been decided, but the business won't stay open much longer.

Brent Mills, the restaurant's owner and chef, has worked in restaurants around the world. He started the concept five years ago at Logan Street Market. 

"It’s really a bummer that it’s so hard to sustain a small restaurant when you don’t have deep pockets, but it seems to be our sad truth," Harvey's posted. "With all that said, anyone looking for a turnkey restaurant?! We’ve got a lot of fantastic equipment ready to go. We’d love to make a deal with someone that wants it all."

People are encouraged to visit the restaurant before it closes.
