LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Baptist Health will cut the ribbon on a new high-tech pharmacy hub this week in La Grange.Â
The ceremony will be held Wednesday at the campus on New Moody Lane in La Grange. The $40 million investment will serve as a medication hub for all nine of the healthcare system's hospitals. According to a news release, it creates 200 jobs.
The 102,000 square-foot facility is located on the Baptist Health La Grange campus. It is one of the first autonomous pharmacy centers in the country. The facility will fill up to 14,000 prescriptions per day.Â
The facility will also support a hands-on pharmacy training program with Oldham County Schools.Â
