LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A downtown Louisville brewpub has closed its doors.
The German-inspired brewpub Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant has permanently closed after 13 years at its Fourth Street Live! location, according to our partners at Louisville Business First. The 500-seat restaurant featured an on-site brewery and made-from-scratch California-inspired menu.
With this closing, the only active standalone restaurant the company has is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Gordon Biersch also operates several restaurants in airports across the country and Taiwan.
This is not the first restaurant to close at Fourth Street Live! this year. In March, Locos, the Latin-inspired restaurant and nightclub closed due to the lack of downtown foot traffic, the co-owner told Business First.
