LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The annual rate hike for crossings on three Ohio River bridges in Louisville will go into effect July 1.
RiverLink rates rise automatically every summer as part of an agreement between Kentucky and Indiana state governments meant to generate money for the toll system's upkeep and repairs.
That deal, approved years before the new toll bridges were built, requires an automatic rate hike of 2.5% or the annual rate of inflation — whichever is higher.Â
RiverLink said Tuesday since the April 2025 CPI was 2.3%, this year's rate increase is 2.5%. Below is a graphic showing the new rates, effective through June 30, 2026:
