LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Latin-inspired restaurant and nightspot located at Fourth Street Live! in downtown Louisville closed recently after less than two years in business.Â
That's according to a report from WDRB's partners at Business First.Â
Café Fiore LLC out of North Carolina closed the Latin-inspired fusion eatery and nightspot at 412 S. Fourth Street on March 16.
Co-owner Cory Starcher told Business First the company plans to reopen at another location in Louisville sometime in the future. He said rising rent costs and less foot traffic were factors in the decision to close.Â
Locos opened in June 2023 in the former Whiskey Dry location that closed in 2020. Locos focused on margaritas, and featured more than 140 tequilas, and often hosted DJs on weekend nights.
It's not clear when or where the new location will open.
