LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) ā Louisville-based CafePress Inc. will move its white-collarĀ employees from its Riverport warehouse in southwestern Jefferson County to an office building in Middletown.
On Dec. 31, CafePress bought a two-story office building at 11909 Shelbyville Road for $1.65 million from Dr. Ronald J. Hamm, Jefferson County property records show.
CafePress is an online retailer offering hundreds of customizedĀ products like t-shirts and buttons from its warehouse in Riverport.
In April, CafePress CEO Fred Durham told Louisville Business First that the company was looking for office space closer to where employees live in eastern Jefferson County.
āThe new space will house the company's desk jobs,ā CafePress spokeswoman Taylor Lutkewitte said in an email. āThe factory offices did not have a corporate headquarters feel - and the new space very much does.ā
Durham did not immediately return a call for comment Wednesday.
