LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Soulful music was in the air Saturday on the Great Lawn at Waterfront Park for the annual Sky Soul Festival.
It was a celebration of R&B, hip-hop and soul culture. Performers included Fantasia, Busta Rhymes, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill and Tonio Armani.
Each year, thousands of people attend the festival, and proceeds help high school students pursue college with a music-focused future.
"We are bringing people in from California, New York, Texas, New Orleans, Florida, all over the United States," festival organizer Lanona Nelson said.
