LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Five Iron Golf opened its newest location Thursday in Louisville.

The brand new indoor golf experience, at East Market and South Campbell streets in NuLu, is designed for all skill levels, even people who've never played golf before. It includes simulators for gaming or practice, private or group lessons, and leagues.

Alex Zega, the franchisee for the Louisville location, said each bay has Trackman simulators to track shots, down-the-line cameras, side-view cameras and more.

There's also a restaurant and bar inside the 9,000-square-foot space in NuLu.

"Louisville has become a top destination for visitors as they seek out new attractions and unique neighborhoods," Cleo Battle, president and CEO of Louisville Tourism, said in a news release Thursday. "Adding Five Iron Golf's innovative entertainment experience to one of Thrillist's 'Best Neighborhoods in America' will only enhance the incredible visitor experience NuLu has to offer."

Five Iron Golf began in 2017 in New York City. It allows golfers to play famous courses on its simulators like Pebble Beach, St. Andrews and even Valhalla.
