LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Chick-fil-A will open its newest Louisville location Thursday.
Chick-fil-A Springs Station is located at 962 Breckenridge Lane in St. Matthews. The restaurant will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.
According to a news release Monday, the new restaurant will bring around 120 jobs to the area. The restaurant will also participate in Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which sends surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits.
The independent franchised restaurant will be owned and operated by Richard Ferree, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and previously owned and operated a location in Illinois.
Ferree lived in Louisville for more than 30 years.
"Returning to Louisville is a true homecoming, and there's nothing more rewarding than serving our friends and neighbors in our cherished community," Ferree said in a news release. "Our mission at Chick-fil-A Springs Station is to be the most caring restaurant in our community."
It will be the 11th Chick-fil-A in Louisville.
