LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky bourbon was a guest of honor at Monday's Inaugural Luncheon.

Brown-Forman provided bourbon glasses wrapped in leather and some Woodford Reserve as a gift to guests of the Joint Congressional Committee's Inaugural Luncheon, one of several gifts given out to lawmakers and other attendees Monday.

A bourbon from Nelson County's Log Still Distillery was also featured in the gift bags.

The distillery created a new bourbon blend to mark the Inauguration, America's 47.

The dual meaning represents President Donald Trump as the 47th president but also the distillery's DSP number, which is 47.

DSP stands for Distilled Spirits Plant and they are given out in order of application. The oldest distillery being DSP 1. 

The limited edition bourbon was also served over the weekend at the Bluegrass Ball in Washington.

Wally Dant, founder and president of Log Still Distillery, said the distillery was proud to represent Kentucky at the momentous event.

Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, said he is always proud when a Kentucky product is spotlighted on the world stage.
