Abbey Road on the River

One of the region’s biggest music festivals is returning this Memorial Day weekend, bringing a lineup packed with classic rock and ‘60s nostalgia.

Abbey Road on the River will take over Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville from May 21–25 for its 25th year, featuring more than 50 bands and five days of performances celebrating the music of The Beatles and beyond.

This year’s lineup includes several artists tied directly to the era, including Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, The Cowsills and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees, who is marking the band’s 60th anniversary with a set of fan-favorite hits.

The festival is also planning a Beatles and Rolling Stones tribute battle of the bands, as well as a performance honoring The Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” album.

Additional appearances include an afternoon with formers Wings guitarist Laurence Juber along with dozens of tribute acts and classic rock performances throughout the weekend.

Along with the music, attendees will have access to interactive art installations, local food and beverage vendors and kids' activities.

Tickets are available online or in-person at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center.
