LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A vintage fashion and specialty coffee shop will open in Louisville's Highlands neighborhood this fall.
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, 12hours will open at 1525 Bardstown Road, across the street from Prado 264.
The business combines vintage apparel with a café specializing in Vietnamese coffee, matcha drinks and pastries.
Owners Jason Nguyen and Sadiel Jadallah said the concept grow out of their shared desire to create a space that reflects their interests while building a sense of community.
"I don't really drink or anything, and I feel like socially, for people our age, the pressure to drink when they're going out is kind of a big thing," Nguyen told LBF. "I want a space where I can host events and bring people together, but where they don't feel the pressure to drink."
The owners are fully renovating the 1,500-square-foot space and hope to open in early November.
