LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Animals and music made for a harmonious combination in Louisville on Saturday night.

ROARchestra, a partnership between the Louisville Zoo and Louisville Orchestra, returned after a 15-year hiatus.

Visitors were able to tour around the zoo on Trevilian Way before a concert conducted Louisville Orchestra's music director Teddy Abrams led a performance. Guest vocalists Jason Clayborn and Daria Raymore, along with backup singer Teaira Dunn, CeCe Dunn and Latiana Clayborn performed at the concert held at the zoo's Oasis Festival field.

"It really is a Louisville tradition," Louisville Orchestra Chief Executive Graham Parker said. "When i started in this roll every single week someone would ask me when is Roarchestra coming back and it took some time for me to know Dan who just started here as chief exec of the Zoo, they also renovated the stage and the tent so this is just perfect for the orchestra to come back."

The concert blended classical masterpieces and soulful pop hits.
