LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Visitor Center in downtown Louisville is closing this week for renovations.
It is the first full-scale renovation for the center at 4th and Jefferson streets in its 20-year history. Officials said the reimagined visitors center will offer a more immersive and authentic Louisville experience.
During the closure, staff will be set up across the city at various attractions and hotels to provide information and services. Work is scheduled to be done in the spring in time for Kentucky Derby 150.
The staff will be on-site at the Frazier History Museum on Dec. 18-23 and Dec. 26-30.
