LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Norton Commons is welcoming its first boutique hotel.
The Purple Martin is an Airbnb-style hotel offering mostly two-bedroom, two-bathroom units with full kitchens stocked with plates and silverware. The units also come with a washer and dryer.Â
There are also some one-bedroom, one-bathroom units available.
Norton Commons has seen a boom in recent businesses popping up in the community, including this first-of-its-kind hotel. Palmer Cole, builder and Co-owner of The Purple Martin, said Norton Commons was the perfect location for the hotel, with a lot of businesses close by.Â
"The walkability is great, too," Cole said.
