Mark's Feed Store on Bardstown Road closing due to 'decreasing traffic'

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A longtime barbecue restaurant on Bardstown Road will close in August.

Mark's Feed Store at 1514 Bardstown Road in the Deer Park neighborhood will close Aug. 24. The location has been open since 1995.

"We hate to say goodbye but decreasing traffic in the area over the past few years has led us to this tough decision," Mark's Feed Store posted. "We hope that each of our loyal Highlands guests will visit us at one of our other locations - Middletown, Dixie, Fern Creek, New Albany, and Elizabethtown or through one of our delivery partners.

Some of the employees at the Bardstown Road location will move to other locations.
