LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new breakfast spot is now open in Clarksville, Indiana.
According to our partners at Business First, El Mananero opened Feb. 18 and offers breakfast, brunch and lunch.
It's located at 916 Eastern Blvd. at the space once occupied by Clarksville Seafood Inc.
The restaurant is owned by brothers Octavio Munoz and Noe Munoz, who also owns Hoopsters Sports Bar and Grill in Jeffersonville.
"Whenever I was thinking about a restaurant, the idea was to open either a breakfast spot or a sports bar," Noe Munoz said. "It was two years ago, exactly, that the sports bar came up for sale. So, I went with the sports bar until my brother bought this building that had been sitting empty for three years."
The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a menu that features Mexican and American breakfast and lunch dishes.
"Our goal here is made-from-scratch," Noe Munoz said. "We're not going to get packaged tortillas; they’re going to be all homemade. Everyone else has almost the same menu as far as Mexican restaurants, but making everything from scratch will set us apart.”
