LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police are investigating after three people were shot during a party at an Airbnb early Monday morning.

According to police, officers responded around 1:08 a.m. to the 1300 block of East Washington Street on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said officers immediately applied a tourniquet and requested additional medical assistance.

As investigators worked the scene, they determined a total of three people had been shot during what police described as an Airbnb house party.

All three victims suffered gunshot wounds to their legs and were transported to UofL Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The victims' ages were not immediately available.

The Louisville Metro Police Department's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation.

Police said the scene remained active early Monday as detectives gathered evidence and worked to determine what led to the shooting.
