LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new tasting experience will open in Louisville, offering a more private approach to bourbon and whiskey.
According to our partners Louisville Business First, Onyx and Amber will launch an appointment-only cocktail and whiskey lounge in the Butchertown neighborhood.
Unlike traditional tasting rooms, guests will reserve visits in advance rather than walk in. The space sits behind the Tartan House on East Main Street inside a converted garage designed to feel more intimate.
The tasting room will seat up to 14 people, but organizers recommend groups of 10 to 12 for the best setting.
The Louisville location will serve as a test concept, but there are plans to expand if demand grows.
An official opening date has not been announced, but organizers hope to open by April 1.
