LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new restaurant will open in New Albany at the location that previously housed Toast on Market, according to our partners at Louisville Business First

The Fair will offer American cuisine and global influences. Juan and Roza Segoviano, co-owners of VIVA! Hospitality Group, operate several Mexican-themed restaurants in the Louisville area like Señor Iguanas and La Catrina.

The restaurant will be located at 141 E. Market Street, which is on a block that once had The Fair Department store. That's where the name of the restaurant originated.

“What is a fair? It’s an exposition, bringing the best you’ve got," Roza said to Louisville Business First. "So that’s where it really came from. It was like, ‘OK, I know with this one, we want to partner with local producers, growers, and artisans.’ We're kind of showcasing the best of Southern Indiana.”

The menu will be inspired by their travels in Italy, France and Spain.
