LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police were called to the 3400 block of Pflanz Avenue around 10:41 p.m. Friday on a reported shooting, department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said.
When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. Mitchell said EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim Sunday as 40-year-old Chester Crawford.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
