LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new Liberian restaurant is offering up unique tastes in the West Buechel neighborhood.
Unice's Kitchen Bar and Grill held its grand opening Saturday on Shepherdsville Road near Hikes Lane. The restaurant serves up Liberian and West African dishes with beef, seafood and chicken.
Owner Annie Dennis said she is thrilled to have her own restaurant.
"I moved here five years now and I see there is a lot of great opportunity for small businesses so I just hopped on and this has been my passion for so long so I saw the opportunity and took it," Dennis said.
Unice's Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner.
