LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Norton Healthcare needs to fill hundreds of jobs as it prepares to open its new hospital in Louisville's west end.
Norton shared a timelapse on Wednesday showing progress on the Norton West Louisville Hospital.
It will be the first new hospital to open in the city's west end in more than 150 years.
It's expected to open in November. The next step is filling nearly 300 open positions at the hospital.
Jobs are available in several departments, ranging from food services, to nursing, radiology and security.
Norton said it's looking for people who want to make an impact.
A hiring event with open interviews will be held on June 11 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Goodwill Opportunity Center, located at 2820 West Broadway right next door to the new hospital.
