LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A lieutenant with the Louisville Metro Police Department died after a three-year battle with cancer.
According to LMPD, Nick Dewees had been with the department since 2013.Ā
"His commitment to this community and his fellow officers was unwavering, and his impact will be felt for years to come," LMPD said in a statement Monday.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
