LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hotel Genevieve in NuLu has earned a Michelin Key that recognizes hotels for excellence in design, architecture, service and personality.

Michelin praised the hotel for its "unpretentious boutique charm."

Part of the Bunkhouse brand, known for top boutique hotels in Texas, Hotel Genevieve brings that same style to Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood.

The hotel also offers Bar Genevieve, the semi-secret Lucky Penny cocktail bar, the Mini Marché convenience store and a new restaurant opening this fall.

The Michelin Key similar to the Michelin Star given to restaurants, and comes from the Michelin Guide. The selection is produced annually, and distinguishes the most outstanding hotels across the nation.
