LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The building that housed The Silver Dollar on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood for 14 years is now for sale.

The restaurant opened in 2011 and was nationally recognized as one of the top whiskey bars, earning a spot a "10 Best Whiskey Bars in America" list.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the owner of the building, Vanessa Cantley, said the building hasn't been publicly listed but she's seeking about $1.95 million.

"I'm not desperate to sell it," Cantley said. "It's paid off, and I want the right people to come along with the right vision for it who will take care of it and be good stewards of the building."
