LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A third Publix Super Market opened Saturday on the company's 95th anniversary.
The new location is at 150 Flat Rock Road in Louisville's Eastwood area.
"We are excited to open our third location in Louisville on our 95th anniversary,ā said Publix Media Relations Manager Jared Glover in a news release. āToday we honor a legacy built on making sure our associates know they belong, providing premier customer service, producing quality products and committing to give back to the communities we serve.ā
This is the second location to open in Louisville this week. On Wednesday, the ribbon was cut at a new locationĀ in Marshall Commons at 10005 Ballardsville Road, near Brownsboro Road.
The first Louisville Publix location opened at 2500 Terra Crossings Blvd. off Old Henry RoadĀ last JanuaryĀ with long lines of customers waiting to get inside.
In addition, the grocery chain plans to open a location in Middletown, signing a lease for the old Walmart Neighborhood Market at 201 Blankenbaker Parkway inĀ May.Ā
