LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville sandwich shop in the Highlands will soon be closing its doors.

Good Belly, located at 2216 Dundee Road, announced on social media Monday it is closing the end of August.

"Our growth over the last 2 years has been staggering," the statement said. "With that fast growth comes LOTS of sacrifice that we can no longer ask of ourselves."

The New York deli-inspired sandwich shop opened in 2023 after the brand's food truck launched in 2021. It is known for its homemade corned beef, pastrami and other hand-crafted sandwiches as well as soups, sides and desserts.

Until its closing, Good Belly is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
