LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Excitement is building for Louisville-native Jack Harlow's new music festival on Memorial Day weekend.
The Gazebo Festival is nearly sold out, but lending an hand to a local organization could score you a tickets.
SZA, Rich Homie Quan, Omar Apollo and Vince Staples are just some of the names that will be performing along with Harlow. A one day tickets run about $155 and a two day ticket is $255.
The concert benefits the Harlow Foundation. Created a year ago, the foundation invests in Louisville nonprofits. One nonprofit is Neighborhood House, which works to create a neighborhood of opportunity for West Louisville.
Jennie Jean Davidson with Neighborhood House said they help local residents "twinkle to wrinkle."
"We have an early childhood center we have a youth program that does great after school and summer programming we do work with families we do work with senior citizens," Davidson said. "Our food pantry is really, really busy right now because families are really looking for ways to make their budget meet their month. So we've had a lot of places where we really needed volunteers, so it's been a great connection for us."
Davidson said being tied to Harlow's foundation has made a big impact.
"His Instagram reaches a lot of people so when we show up there we hear from folks from all over the country and all over the world which has been really exciting," she explained.
Harlow donated 250 New Balance Shoes to the Sowing Seeds with Faith organization in November. Sowing Seeds' Da'Marrion Flemming will host an annual summer enrichment program which offers a bit of everything.
"Every morning our kids get one hour of math, one hour of reading comprehension and one hour of Black history. That's Monday to Thursday. That's non-negotiable," Flemming said.
