Six Forks Burger Company announces reopening, will become takeout only

Six Forks said there will be a special for the first 25 customers on opening day.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local burger joint is reopening its doors.

Six Forks Burger Company is opening back up Wednesday, Oct. 18, after announcing it was closing Sept. 5.

The owner said after receiving an outpouring of love and support from the community, they decided to bring Six Forks back.

The reopened restaurant will be takeout only with self-service kiosks, QR codes, online ordering a brand new app.

Six Forks said there will be a special for the first 25 customers on opening day.
